Brazil has reportedly chosen its slogan for the 2014 World Cup.
The slogan is: “All In One Rhythm,” a rather clumsy translation of “Juntos Num Ritmo So,” the Portuguese version.
I can see what they are getting at – everyone pulling together, the inevitable samba reference – but it sounds a bit forced.
O Globo’s Ancelmo Goes has already come up with an alternative slogan: “Let’s overcharge for this!”
Sounds clumsy too, but the sentiment is spot on….
