Double concussions are killers. giving a semi concussed fighter and 8 count and then sending him back into battle make double concussions more likely. sitting in the pocket because of big gloves, only being able to finnish by punching someone (ie numbers of punches landed multiple times higher in boxing that mma) all make boxing much more dangerous to a fighter than mma. dont get me wrong I love both sports but you need to think beyond just thje aesthetics of the sports

Sport is about arbitrary constraints which focus the energies and lead to creativity. MMA is kind of the raw dirty primordial mud of sport, the unchecked violence into which all other sport is refined.
